School Nurse: Virginia Paine, BSN
Virginia has been a nurse for over 40 years. She received her BSN from the University of RI and a Masters of Public Health from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Shortly after graduation, Virginia joined the Peace Corps where she cared for women and children in Mauritania, Africa. Upon her return to the US, she served as the Health and Nutrition Coordinator for a Head Start program in RI. She then went on to manage the immunization, diabetes and chronic disease programs for the RI Department of Health.
